The JCMUA Funds Sustainable JC Green Infrastructure Project
Local community organization Sustainable Jersey City (SJC), a collaborative network of green civic minded organizations and individuals, has teamed up with the NJ Tree Foundation to install a rain garden at the New Jersey City University (NJCU) Campus as an intervention strategy for building flooding. The project is being funded by the JCMUA in support of community led initiatives of green infrastructure design install projects. For more information about this project, click here!
On October 2, 2017, The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority was honored to host the Tokyo Metropolitan Sewerage Service Corporation.
Nj Alliance for Action
On February 15th, 2018, The Staff of the JCMUA in partnership with Remington and Vernick Engineers accepted an award from the New Jersey Alliance for Action for the East/ West Side Pumping Station Emergency Generator Project.
The JCMUA received an award at the NJ Utilities' Authority's Annual Safety Award Ceremony in acknowledgement of it's outstanding safety program.
