YEARLY RENEWAL OF SEWERAGE ABATEMENTS
The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority resolution of January 20, 1983 states that all sewerage abatements must be reviewed, resubmitted and approved every year. Abatement applications must be completed in full with the appropriate fees included. No abatements will be renewed until all the forms and requested material is received and a facility inspection is performed. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CHECKS TO SUEZ WATER JERSEY CITY. All Checks should be made out to Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. Please include a copy of a recent water and sewer bill.
If there are any changes made at your facility, they must be reported with the appropriate back up paper work included.
Your partial abatement renewal application for the year 2022 will be due June 30, 2022. Failure to return the completed application and fees will result in loss of your partial sewerage abatement. If there are any questions, please contact Ryan Slager at 201.432.1150.
- Select application and print out forms.
- Attach check with appropriate fee amount. Checks should be made out to Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority.
- Attach copy of recent water and sewer bill.
