Victor Negron Jr. was born and raised and still resides in Jersey City. Victor’s work history in Jersey City includes working for the City of Jersey City for 22 years at the formerly known Jersey City Incinerator Authority, now known as the Department of Public works, where he worked in several positions. Currently, Victor holds the position of Director of Security for the Hudson County Sherriff’s Office.

As a true Jersey City native, Victor always has had a heart for his community. He is an outstanding community leader and grass roots organizer. He currently serves as a Hudson County Committee Person, and is also a Jersey City Ward Leader. He has been involved in numerous community activities and quality of life initiatives such as facilitating events focused on the senior population and community clean-ups. Victor previously served as a member of the Ethical Standards Board of the City of Jersey City. Now, he is serving on the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) Board of Commissioners.

Victor’s life journey has always been linked to helping others; it is in him to make sure that he makes a positive impact in his community, at the workplace and wherever he goes.
