Beginning with our activity book featuring Snap, children are taught the fundamentals of the city's sewers and the need to throw litter in its proper place, and not down the catch basins. Children take a pledge to "do what's smart," sporting temporary tattoos featuring the JCMUA mascot, Snap. Children show their support for the "Basin Beat" by carrying their pledge cards and tote bags and using their "Basin Beat" bookmarkers.
