REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROFESSIONAL
ENGINEERING SERVICES
Introduction
The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority (JCMUA) is seeking proposals from a qualified Professional Engineering Firms to perform work on various projects associated with the JCMUA in the year 2010. All proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud on November 18, 2009 @ 11:30am at the offices of JCMUA Administration Office at 555 Route 440 Jersey City, New Jersey 07305 in Anthony J. Fiola Memorial Conference Room. The Respondents will work with the JCMUA staff and consultants. Responsibilities include providing engineering services listed below. These services include, but are not limited to assisting the Authority in the preparation of applications and other documentation to secure all necessary permits, professional studies, designs, plans, specifications, location and topographical surveying services, reviews and approvals, contract administration, including review of bids and recommendations as to award, contract observation, review of technical documents, manuals and materials, conducting field visits and preparing reports, attending meetings with the JCMUA, NJDEP and other agencies as requested, and providing technical assistance to the JCMUA. The Firms shall be reimbursed on the basis of hourly rates for the personnel utilized to complete each task plus appropriate reimbursements.
