REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR GENERAL LEGAL COUNSEL, SPECIAL COUNSEL, WORKERS COMPENSATION AND BOND COUNSEL

Introduction

The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority (JCMUA) is seeking proposals from a qualified Legal Firms to perform work on various projects associated with the JCMUA Legal needs form January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010.  All proposals will be publicly opened and read on November 18, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the offices of JCMUA Administration Office at 555 Route 440 Jersey City, New Jersey 07305 in Anthony J. Fiola Memorial Conference Room. The Respondents will work with the JCMUA staff and consultants.  Responsibilities include legal counsel services listed below.  These services include, but are not limited to General Legal Counsel, Special Counsel, Workers Compensation and Bond Counsel one or more individuals/firms may be selected to provide service.  The Firms shall be reimbursed on the basis of hourly rates as stated in the RFQ for the personnel utilized to complete each task plus appropriate reimbursements.  Requests for Qualifications are available from the Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority, 555 Route 440, Jersey City, New Jersey 07305, Kevin J.
